为什么用whether ，unknow 不用if ，to see呢？

1. with 是介词，其后不能接句子，而time went on是一个完整的句子，所以要用as引起从句。2.if是如果的意思，主要表达的是假设，而whether是是否的意思，所以第一个空要填whether；而see的逻辑主语需要是人，在这句话中的逻辑主语是whether引导的从句。

1.用with 就必须说with time on，with后面不能加句子，with+n+adv比如he entered the classroom,with a book in hand(whether our basketball team can win the game) remains括号里的部分是一个大主语，引导的词只能是wheth
